Hotel Lucerna Tijuana

We stayed at Hotel Lucerna for one night Sat-Sun for $190~ after fees and taxes. To start off, the service and staff was so nice and welcoming. They answered all the questions we had and helped with anything we needed. 5 stars there. The room, we had a deluxe king which was pretty comfy but the rooms did look a bit outdated compared to the images online and social media. Not super different but it just felt a bit older. Our room was facing the parking lot/ street side and depending on traffic you do hear the traffic throughout the night, but nothing that the hotel can control. The pool was in the center of the property and at first I thought it was a fountain but it is actually a pool. We didn't get a chance to get in since we didn't have swim trunks but there are lots of trees surrounding it so lots of leaves at the bottom of the pool . They have a rooftop sushi and bar that you definitely need to check out! Overall, I would come here again if it was much cheaper. There were other hotels that were cheaper but this one was picked based on location and where we were going to be.

Friendly staff, awesome 5th floor amenities with buffet style breakfast, lunch and dinner. Cool bar and restaurant on first floor and many places to go eat walking distance. Amazing atmosphere.

Rooms are roomy and comfortable. Their beds are one of the best. The housekeeping ladies are amazing. They always cater to your needs. They have a pool and a bar with Tvs. On Sundays one of the restaurants has an amazing brunch with the best tacos. I love Lucerna. I go constantly and its one of my favorite hotels in Tijuana. I feel safe there. Close to the border and not overpriced. Give it a try. You will be glad you did

Excellent location, but it felt more like a 3.5 star hotel rather than a 5 star hotel. The rooms are fine, but dimly lit and older than the photos you see online. Hotel Lucerna lacked the attention to detail of a five star hotel - Our bed had minor stains, the dresser didn’t close fully, and the bathroom curtains were ripped. The walls are thin and we couldn’t sleep due to music from a nearby event. The spa had massages for MX $2,000. But the location was convenient and we appreciated the friendly service and Christmas decorations around November / December. The gym was spacious for working out. For the price and what they advertise, it didn’t feel like the best deal.

Not the best location for this hotel. It's my fist night and got almost no sleep. I got a room in the outside of the building facing the parking lot and street with access to a small balcony but the problem it's the noise that comes in from the outside. It's almost like I left a window open and I can hear the traffic, the ambulance, the cars burning tires late at night, the police turning their lights on, the car alarms from vehicles outside and the motorcycles speeding through. Don't get me wrong I believe I did sleep from 1am to 5am, it was pretty quiet at that time. I'll be talking to the front desk today if I can get another room in a different section of the hotel that's not facing the street and I'll update the customer service after that. (UPDATE) I want to thank the staff for helping me out and giving me another room after I addressed my noise issue. I want to acknowledge that all the staff are real friendly, respectful and helpful.

Safe place to stay, eat and relax Good food, attentive service Clean and spacious rooms 4 star rated because there's always room for improvement.

I recently stayed at Lucerna Hotel in TJ and had an amazing experience. The place was immaculately clean and well-maintained. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making me feel right at home. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in TJ. Five stars all around!

From the front desk to the restaurant team, everyone was professional and welcoming. The location couldn’t be better! It was conveniently situated near key attractions, making it easy to explore the area. Plus, there were great dining options and shopping spots within walking distance. Overall, Hotel La Lucerna exceeded our expectations in every way. We highly recommend it and will definitely be returning!
